I was considering that, but trying to figure out haw to accomplish it.....but I was almost certain to take the un-finned and flat aluminum part, tape it off and paint it the red, then put a 390 decal on it...

You could just sand the high spots once the paint cures for a week or two and then polish the fins. Add in a 390 emblem and it would look pretty decent. Of course a sat of Shelby covers would look good as well but might be overkill.

I was thinking of spraying the Ford Red engine paint into a small glass jar and hand painting it on the fins....sometimes OCD for a good image is such a bitch!

Still awaiting the Detroit Locker, which is aggravating, but allows me to make progress on my engine!

Changed out the 2wd oil pump suction for the 4wd oil pump suction!
