Long Process of wrong stuff!

Post by zoomer »

I ordered the rear axle flip kit from _____ (I'd prefer not to name them) The first re-locators in the kit were... Let's say way off. Completely. They came on Sat, I had to wait till Monday, then when I talked to customer service, he wanted pictures because he couldn't understand the issue. So, I got home, took pictures and emailed them complete with measurements. He told me they didn't know what those fit! He was sending out the right ones. They got here today!! Guess what?? They don't freaking fit either!! This time the ears are the right size to fit into the saddles on my rearend but they are 9/16 too long! :nono: The rearend won't set down into the bottom of the re-locator.
So to save me loosing my dang mind and another week waiting on the right parts. I'm taking optimum measurements and taking them to work and let the machine shop cut the excess amount off. Geez. Customer service is a thing of the past!
I have a new set of DJM beams sitting there waiting to go in and I can only pray they are the right ones! This has been such a nightmare. I am not a patient person. I just want my truck back on the road and done right.
Also, none of the re-locators have part numbers stamped on them. How can you keep up with what is what? Doesn't make sense to me! :hmm:

I'll say it... Airbagit.com!

They suck monkey nuts. That's why I went with Fatman Fab for their axle flip kit.

Oh dude!

After all that has been posted about Airbagit in here and on FTE, it was quite obvious that their customer service, attention to detail, and product quality control was SEVERELY lacking or even non-existent. Your experience validates that even more.

I'm wondering why you were hesitant in naming them. You shouldn't have any qualms about expressing your opinion about a commercial enterprise... it's up to them to maintain quality and if they don't measure up, then it's up to them to improve or get the heck out. If they are a good company to deal with, then expressing positive experiences validates their practices that they are doing things right.

Facts are facts.....The prosecution rests.

I just didn't want to dog them. :( Sometimes things can't be helped by businesses. I didn't do my research on them. I must admit, although they sent me a totally wrong part.... That they had no idea what it fit after I sent them pics and measurements. HAHA They did make it right. Only sucky part is it took so long to get my stuff.
