Re: drum to disc brake conversion kits.
I have a 1970 f100 longbed. All original except for the original owner converted it to power steering. I replaced the springs bushings and added sway bars front and rear. Thinking I just had to swap 72-73 spindle to convert to discs. I would also like to replace the tie rods and drag link and get it aligned. Not sure if the original gearbox was replaced to make it power steering. Or if you can convert the stock gearbox. If I do the spindle swap. What tie rods and drag link do I need? 72-73? I have replaced everything in the suspension so if I can avoid swapping everything it would be nice. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

My understanding is that you want to use the same year steering linkage as the spindles.

But what is the "aftermarket power steering" referred to by the OP in http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =5&t=73031 ?
