1973 F250 Lowering

Post by AlltheKingsMen38 »

I want a sleek shop truck look on my F250 so lowering it is on my list of things to do. However, I have not been able to locate anything for this model year. As far as I can tell, the front suspension is the same as my dad's '68 F1 with the exception of the brakes, and the kits are plentiful for his model year. Are the kits compatible? I hear that I can use a Crown Vic front suspension, anyone heard of this? I only want to take her down by 3" in the front. By the way, Cutting the springs is out of the question.

Airbagit does a kit for dropped beams for the f250 which is a 3 inch drop. I used these components and also cut 1 coil out of the springs for a 4.5 inch drop. In the rear I used the Airbagit axel flip kit and c notch which levels the truck with a 6 inch drop. You can check out my truck in the bumps with lowered altitude sticky. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... start=1350
