Found it!!!

Post by Mancar1 »

Recently while doing some mods on the 68 I swapped out the steering box and col for one out of a 72. Well I stayed with the 68 steering wheel. Ground down the threads to flush with the hold down nut, and yup horn works if the wheel is turned a quarter turn to the right. Not to safe when doing 70. Turns out I was using the 72 nut and I needed to use the 68 thinner one. Was going to order one but first I went out and put all the original parts neatly on shelves. Yup I found what I needed. Small things make me :D That is it in front of what I had delivered today along with...oh I will post that one in the tools section.
