1967 radio or delete plate
Looking for a working am radio for 1967 F100 or a delete plate. Have so many things bought already and budget it wiped out, trying to find one cheaper than e-bay. Radios are going for about $100 on there and that's too much to pay right now for a 46 year old am radio.

That's the key phrase, " 46 year old am radio" These are not only 46 years old but they are one year only. I've seen these radios sell from $100.00 to $250.00 that's what happens when you buy an old truck. You might have bought the truck cheap, but parts and accessories are not.

Re: 1967 radio or delete plate
The one year only thing works both ways though. They radios may be rare, but so is the number of 67 trucks remaining on the road that need a radio. I did get the truck cheap....1,500.00 but it's in need of alot of work. The bed is about gone, the frame is very rusty, but just surface rust. The body is in decent shape except for the typical rust areas. I have fixed most of the rust on the body by welding in new metal and body filler. I bought this truck to just kick around in, not to turn it into a show truck and I'm satisfied with the progress I'm making, it's just slow due to my funds.chicof100 wrote:That's the key phrase, " 46 year old am radio" These are not only 46 years old but they are one year only.
