fabricated inner fenders

has anybody ever tried to fabricate a set of custom inner fenders i would love to be able to make some for my 69 out out of alum.

i had considered repairing mine at one time but i was unsre how to get the welds to hide very good. but that could work i wouldn't see why not. i've seen custom aluminum vavle covers.

I am working on some custom inner fenders to cover my wheels,I will post some pics soon.
