"Z" Paint Code

My brother is looking at a 1969 F100. The paint code is "Z". Does anyone know what color this is? The truck is currently red. We searched the internet and couldn't find that code. Is it a special order color?

if you go to this website...fill out the year/ model and click GO.

Then click on all other models and click GO.

That will list the available colors for 1969 and their respective codes...

Z is not one of them, but you can go and fill out a form and they'll tell you what you got hopefully. Worth a try.

for a 1970 Z translates to Baja Beige, I don't know what it would mean for a 69. nothing on the vin data pages here on it.

so I finally got my 69 shop manuals today. Not anywhere in them is there anything about paint code Z. Where did this info originally come from? also: update, I am in the process of powdercoating my wheels and interim 67 steel grille. At this point I do not believe the grille has been painted yet, and I really want a 69 steel grille. It is currently at my uncle's shop. if anyone has a 69 steel grille ready for paint and wants to trade please contact me. The grille I have came without headlight covers though. beyond that it is perfect. ..so that really belonged in......4 sections...ah well.
