help with pricing?

Post by BlueOvalDave »

Any ideas what a booster/master combo with brake pedal assembly for a 67 is worth?, or what should I expect to spend?

Damn, I had all this stuff and let it go when I did my Vic swap.

Booster/Master Combo under $150 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aaz-5 ... /year/1967 Looks like it includes firewall brackets. 1967 specific Brake pedal assy? Salvage yard, Ebay, Craigslist, Part Wanted section here...????? What are using now for a brake pedal? I believe any bump year will work, you just may need an adjustable push rod. You could always go "universal" http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cmb-14-0016/overview/, just have to figure out how to incorporate a booster.

This is junkyard stuff I'm looking at but the guy wants me to come up with a price, I just want to be fair to both of us

I adapted/ fabbed up a later model brake pedal to work with the hydroboost system I was using. After installing the Mark VIII motor I needed to simplify things and ditch the Hydroboost which is why I'm attempting to source the correct parts to conventional power brakes.

Oh and that link to Summit is a Cardone unit, which they don't stock, they want you to send yours in for a rebuild. I already checked a week ago.

Thanks for that info on the Cardone unit. I was considering that, now I know not to waste my time. Junkyard price? I wouldn't pay any more than $100 for m/c, booster, brake pedal assy, booster vacuum hose, push rod, everything from the rubber foot pad to the intake manifold vacuum connection. Even 100 would make me pucker. But that's here in Georgia.
