I have the axle out now. The axle goes to the shop tomorrow and is press fit on. I've cleaned the shoes with brake cleaner as they were not that bad. Ive routinely sprayed them through the gap in the drum from the back to help before I was able to fix this.

Everythings back together now and it seems to hold up so far. I adjusted the breaks and both rear tires leave skids on the street in front of the house( much to the neighbors delight I'm sure hehe  ). Lets see if it starts to leak after a few more days though. I'm really hopeing it will not as I'm now depending on this truck as my only transportation for the next 2 weeks while my other one is in POR15 mode to rid of rust. After that it will be the F100s turn to have POR15 put on.
Thanks for everyones help- I couldn't have done without it  :fr:
