lowering flip kit

Post by fixxer »

I'm using those flip saddles from chassis tech aka aim. I'm curious is the need of pinion shims needed or is it jut bolt on and go? I'm also doing 3" beans and 1" drop coils in front.

No shims should be required because all it is doing is relocating the axle from under to over the spring... the angle does not change.

For comparison, shims are required when doing the front spring hanger flip because only one end of the spring is repositioned, thus slightly rotating the axle (and pinion).
