Doing this all by yourself is a severe pucker factor. What a spider web of ratchet straps and nylon rope!
Look'n sweet!!! Used the same trick myself on cab removal. Who was the genius that created the "Cherry Picker" ??? There should be a national holiday in his honor... keep up the good work...

Randy has had his truck down for a long time. IIRC moved during the process. I think he has a dream date in mind. Biting his tongue so not to jinx the day. I know every time I say something with a timeline something happens to make sure I am wrong about the day.

It doesn't matter if it is a house project, car project, or other, as soon as I say "I hope to be done xx/xx/xxxx" God has other plans.

It's all about the "Benjamins". Actually, I haven't moved but 3 of my kids have. Seems like every time I get a little money saved up for the truck, something else comes along and sucks it up. My target date has moved so many times I stopped trying to even hazard a guess. It's not the destination, it's the journey that counts. (Isn't that what everybody says when their project takes longer than they planned :D ) Thanks for the words of encouragement!

"Life" has had a tight clamp on my time lately but I did manage to score a new set of stainless brake lines, a NEW chrome rear Sport bumper and a set of refurbished window regulators. :woohoo: Got to meet one of our members, bbyrnes, and he parted with them for a great price (Thanks, Brandon!). I got the window regs so I could attempt the 80's F150 power window conversion and still have a good set of regulators if it doesn't work out. Winter's coming so taking another week's vacation from work Oct 7-11 for some quality bump time before the cold weather sets in. :D Stress levels are high in my world these days and I really need some truck therapy.
