Finally got my 67 f100, pictures and some ?'s
My grandfather bought this truck new in '67 and used it as his one of his daily driver trucks until he died about 17 yrs ago. I finally got ahold of the truck, not exactly sure what I'm going to do with it yet but I'm pretty excited to finally be able to drive it!! As far as I know the truck is pretty much original with a 352 but the manual tranny was swapped for a '71 automatic along with power brakes. I assume this is the factory color, I tried decoding the vin tag but the color isn't listed. Thanks

Looks to be very clean. Whatever you decide to do with it, enjoy it as a piece of family history. Very cool to have one your grandfather bought new.

Thanks for the comments guys. I spent most of the day getting the truck cleaned up and polishing up the chrome, pulled the carb and had it rebuilt but I need to get it tuned up. Anyone have a link with some details on how to tune this 2bbl carb?
I think for the most part this truck is going to stay just how it is right now, I'll fix the ac and maybe add some cragar or torque thrust wheels.

Very nice looking truck. With a little TLC, it could be a show truck!
If the carb is an Autolite 2100, there are videos on YouTube and such to help rebuild and tune it.

Is it boxwood green? It looks a little light but it could be age. It looks nice. I see those 90's wheels on a lot of old fords. I actually think they look good. I know they are a little pricey but I would throw on a set of original style torque thrusts that have the grey center. That would look cool but hey, it was was your grandfathers and it is still around. That is a whole different kind of cool. Maintain that thing and cruise it with pride no matter how it looks. My grandfather drove a Pinto but I'd roll it if it was still around.

Nice looking truck.
Did he swap the steering column when he did the tranny swap. That is a later steering wheel.
Also the hood is later or the side F100 emblem was swapped for a later one. The '67 emblem has no reflector.

Very nice truck. That paint looks like it might polish up and be nice and shiny with a little elbow grease. It has an interesting blend of later parts, like the steering wheel and the hood spears.

Thanks for all the replies guys!! I'm not sure what the color is called but I do know my grandfather repainted it about 25 years ago. Yes, the column was swapped with a '74 column I think. Does that change what year wheel will fit, I really hate the wheel and the center horn button is falling out. I really would like to swap it with a nice green wheel with a chrome horn ring.
I've almost got the truck ready to start driving again it needs new exhaust as the manifolds are cracked, and some tires. Still need to decide on some wheels and save a few more $$ to get everything together. I think it will be ready to go in the next month or so
