Clutch rod question

Post by rdaniel911 »

On the 68 bump, is the clutch rod from the pedal to the pivot supposed to be straight, or have a slight bend in it. This one has a bend, towards the firewall, the 72 is straight.

It does, i'm beginning to think it was bent sometime in its life, it barely rubs the firewall insulation, which I don't think it should, I'm going to pull it and straighten it, it was my wifes fathers farm truck when she was young, so no telling the story of how it got bent.
