Wow!
That has got to be one of the coolest projects I've seen to date...
You must be very proud of it. I promised Jethro that someday I would do the same to him.
I am just green with envy!

Hi Scott, newtothefordgame wrote:if you don't mind me asking, what'd that seat run you? I'm in the market for a new one, maybe ill just get mine redone.
I just now saw your post of Jan. 24, 2006. I did not know that this website had picked up the information on my truck restoration until someone emailed me.
To answer your question, I paid $1200.00 to have the seat built up and shaped into bucket seats and to have the Ford "logo" embroidered into the center of the top back. I did use the original seat frame and as much of the old seat as was salvageable.
I was really pleased with the results and I get as many compliments on the seat as I do the truck.

Thanks for the compliment. Someone must have cut and pasted a copy of the photo into the seat thread but it's the seat in my '67 F-100 custom upholstery, black leather. Everyone seems to like the design a lot.

Thanks for you gracious compliment Robert. I am humbled by all the kind comments I have received from people all across the country. The truck took 2 years to restore to the level that I wanted it restored but it was worth the effort. The truck was my Dad's daily driver ever since he bought it in the early '70s and I had it restored for him and gave it back to him to take back to the farm. He and his truck are back together on the farm for a little while longer.DuckRyder wrote:Nice Job Tripticker!!!
