Help
Im changing from a 3 speed to an np435 4 speed and need to know if it will use the same clutch? I asked parts store and they looked at me like I was retarded , maybe I am but I still need to know if these will use the same clutch . The spline looks different but both are 1 1/16 and 10 spline any info would sure be appreciated.

I'd guess it's the same clutch. I base this on looking your truck up on RockAuto's website and then viewing clutch options. They show no distinction between the transmission, the clutches are based on "manual" transmission applications.
To be sure just slide the disc you have over the spines of both transmissions.

Most people at a parts store only know how to look up something on a computer. (Which isn't always right anyway.)

Same clutch as long as you are using pick-up truck parts. Did that swap myself many years ago.
