It seems that fluid from my 3 speed is traveling up my speedo cable and puking out on the cab floor.
Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
The truck has done this since I bought it, its getting worse as time goes on.

I'm thinking there's a seal inside the end that goes in the transmission. I know there's an o-ring around the outside of it but that's to keep from leaking around it, not inside it. I'd think replacing the speedo cable would solve it.

Could you have too much fluid in the tranny? Warm it up, park on a level street, put it in neutral, check the level. Sounds like too much fluid, too much pressure, and it's looking for somewhere to go.
