Auto to NP435 swap in a factory power steering 2 wheel drive

Post by feefie »

I am planning to swap my C-6 for an NP435 in my 2 wheel drive '70 model F-250. I am using all factory components for this swap but after much research, I have never seen any factory built 3/4 ton powersteering 4 speed trucks out there. Anyone know if there will be linkage/clearance issues? Anyone done this swap?
There doesn't seem to be much room around the steering box for the linkage to bolt up so I am a bit nervous about this.

Thanks for the info!

I assume you're talking about the clutch linkage? There's no interference problems, it's all bolt in.

I've done this very swap myself to my 69.

Thanks for the info. Looks like this will become an official summer project.
