dana 44 front axle problems

I actually found something interesting, this inspired me to find an actual source of axle codes, took a look on the one on this website. I founf an axle cod for 70' f250 4x4 3.73 gears and another code 70-71' f250 4x4 3.73 gears, and 70-71 f250 4x4 with 4.56 gears....Im guessing maybe they were standard with 4.10s and available with 3.73 and 4.56 but I would geuss that was probably overlooked allot, especially being that it seems every one ive seen has been 4.10s....learn something new every day.

And yes these trucks had alot of option gears and stuff, ya never know what farmers/owners checked off when they bought a new truck.
