1967 3 OTT to C4 or C6 HELP
I am wanting to convert a 1967 3 on the tree to an automatic trans and need help on all the parts I will need or need to change out. A list of parts or where I could find them would be great. Also if anyone has a parts truck they would sell with a working auto trans would be amazing. Please i need a lot of feed back. I would greatly apretiate any help or suggestions you have. Once again a 1967 ford 3 on the tree to a auto trans with the parts I need.

Couple of ways to go about it. For quick and easy, just get a C4 or C6 transmission with the correct bell housing for your engine, relocate your transmission crossmember, get the right length driveshaft and install a floor shifter. If you want to keep column shift, you'll need a steering column and firewall bracket for an automatic steering column and the linkage rods. These will have to match up with whatever other options you have, i.e., power steering or not, bendix steering gear or Saginaw, etc.
