So the other day I was looking at my dads pickup and was decoding the door info and it says that his truck model is an F263. What does that mean?

It means that you should have told us what year the truck was, and that it was a 4x4.

My knowledge of old Ford trucks is minimal, but my google fu is strong. A simple search for F263 Ford lead me to http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/11318 ... st11307050

So he has an F250 done up as a 4x4 that was built sometime between 1959 and 1972

My dads is a 68 f250 4x4 according to the title but like I said the tag says f263. So are you saying that just means its a 4x4?

If that thread is correct then it means a 250 that was a factory 4x4
