beginners stupidity

well i am sry i am really new to this all and i will have prob alot of dumb questions but i was wondering how to take the windshield out correctly and if i could use the same rubbers reinstalling it if there not in to bad of shape and what would i need to reinstall it sry it is dumb but wanna do it all right thnx

I have found in my life that I feel dumbest after making a mistake cause I didn't ask someone first.

I think the reason you want to use new rubber is that you need to have the most flexibility you can in the rubber to get the lip to flare out. If the rubber is old, it's going to be harder to move the lip which increases the risk of breaking the glass.
