Re: 1967 F-100 project
Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm hoping I can get the cab support piece welded in this week, and then pray for one more day in the 70's to shoot epoxy primer on it before winter!

good job, way to stick it out. It sucks but nothing better than a job well done.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately, the cold weather that's moving in may slow my progress down considerably.

I was able to pick up some nice parts from one of the guys on here from Omaha, 69twotone (thanks Joe!). Got a nice tailgate, 2 fenders, and an amazingly clean radiator support!

Great score, Pat! So I guess you're not getting the fenders from Riff?
That radiator support looks very good, but are you sure it's a bumpside support? Sure looks like a 73-79 support to me...

73-79 will still work with slight modifications if it is.

Marine is correct, it can still be used. Which maybe that was your plan all along.

You know, I don't have mine, and the more I look at it the more I see that it probably is a 73-79. But, I can still use it, so that's fine. I still have to get inner fenders from Riff, and the stone guard that goes between the bumper and the grill. MIght see if he's got some nice Ranger emblems also.

Next thing on the list, is this bracket that holds the front fender to the bottom of the cab. You can see what it should look like here.....

And here is what's left of the other side. Removed it to make a new one out of 16 ga. steel. Also, the rocker underneath it is shot. pretty much the only place where the rockers are bad. So, along with that steel on the corner, I'll have to weld in a patch on the rocker, before welding in the new bracket.
