Would a guy be betteroff finding used doors on good shape or using the door skins and paying for the labour to have them weldedon etc... :hmm:
driving a 1968 Mercury Camper Special that needs a lil facelift

I would probably go with new doors my opinion is by the time that you find good door skins take them and have them fitted and welded you would probably have just as much if not more than new doors.
Lord, give me the restraint not to cuss over busted knuckles.

What about buying new replacement skins they seem reasonable enough BUT I think the labour to have them installed would be as much as buying doors

i'd go with doors not skins. just because it would be easier to swap doors than to get new skins put on.

Gosh,I'm sure I could find you good doors any day of the week,but I imagine the shipping from Az. would be quite high...

i face the same problem....the lower door panels on both sides are rusted almost through, on the side closest to the bed. I have seen complete doors for sale repro for the 73-79 any out there for us? the doors are great besides these two golf ball sized holes there are only on the outer skin.
