Ford 9" question

I am looking to find a place to buy a set of axle retaining plates for my 31 spline 9". I looked at BGY and theirs says from 73-78 I thought that the 31 spline bb difs were all the same. Does anyone know where I might find someone who carries these or can tell me if my 71' 31 spl. 9" is the same as the 73" 31 spl. 9" ? I tried the boneyard but only found one truck with 31 spline and the axle was tore up. Thanks

31 spline in the mitchell manual says 73-78. the 67-72's are 28 spline.

The 4x4's came with 31 spline rear 9" difs. Most also had the traklock limited slip.

sorry i was speaking of 2wd i didnt know you were talking about 4wd. i dont know about them.
