How can I tell what trans I have? It's a 4spd, compound low, and that's all I know! :?

If reverse is down then it is an NP435 four speed. If reverse is up the it is a T18 four speed. Both are very strong trannies and they have a low granny.

Doesn't the T-18 have a lower first gear than the Np435? thought I heard that somewhere.........
