tailgate load rating

Post by greemero »

Anybody know the load capacity on the tailgate? I want to know if I need to remove it before I roll a round bail of hay out the back (somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 pounds). Thanks.

I believe the "did you know" trivia deal has said 1 or 2 tons in the down/flat position.

2,000 pounds in the open position. I'd say you're good to go with that hay.
