Permatex makes the Right Stuff it replaced the old brown Permatex sealer and cleans up easier. It comes in a can with a dispenser nozzle and handle. It is black and acts like a cross between the brown Permatex and a very good silicone sealer.

I have to agree with Dragon- Right Stuff is worth its' weight in gold! I work at the BYU autoshop here in Provo & we use that on all our GMC intake manifolds, water pumps & differential covers. We have done literally hundreds of them & I have never seen one leak so far.

If you use right stuff do you still use the gaskets and coat both sides of the gaskets or eliminate the gaskets?

I have seen people just use right stuff or just give a thin coat on the gasket. 3m use to sell silicone strips you out on and mushed together to make a true seal... don't know if they are still out there. :? But i will add another vote approving right stuff
