Will a 429 bolt up with an e4od?

Post by GeorgiaVTS »

Anybody know if a 68 model 429 will bolt up to a 91 e4od tranny? Are the bolt patterns on a 429 the same as a 460?

Yes, that's the easy part. The hard part is hooking up all the electronic controls for it. Baumann makes a controller so you can retrofit back to earlier vehicles.

"Are you gonna make it all 220?"
"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."

A 700 R4 is half the money and can be built to take a big block torque.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.
