i was talking to a guy and he told me if i clean my trim up good and then wipe a towel with some wd-40 on it it will take away some of the cloudiness . it seems to work pretty good .for the lower budget folks, not a good idea in the rain i would imagine ,streaks

Hmmmm...I don't know. WD-40 is a penetrating fluid, and I'm not sure I'd want it attacking my aluminum. I'm not saying it will, but I'd have to think it would to some extent. Even if it won't hurt it, it's still a short-term application, as the WD-40 will wear off pretty quickly, so you'll have to keep applying it. I'd also tend to think it'll attract and trap all kinds of dust.
