Drove it to town. Stopped at the store. Went out and the little cutie in the Pathfinder said she liked my truck.

Had a new tailshaft seal and pinion seal installed. That stopped the oil leaks. Also tracked down the fuel leak. The inline fuel filter was not tight enough. Fuel was pooling on top of the intake manifold. Not good. One spark from the distributor and kablooie! Whew.
Next: get rid of the slop in the shifter, fix the horn, tighten up the steering play, new clutch, new diff. spider gears and install one of those fancy lighting harnesses from 390 when he makes more.
Someday, I will get a brake booster installed or upgrade to disc brakes.

Took off the old dinged up grille. Now it sits with no face because I refuse to use the old rusted speed nuts and bolts. Broke about 3 bolt heads and one j-nut even with letting it soak with PB Blaster...

Drove mine to the store this afternoon. Thought "maybe I should put gas in it," decided not to.

Re: What did you do to YOUR bump today?
Finally got the my wife's 70 F100 running again after changing the head gaskets and putting it back together. I couldn't get it to start. After process of elimination, it turned out the coil was bad. Todays entertainment will be putting the headliner and stereo back in my truck. Having no stereo sucks and my singing sucks.

Hopefully, next spring it will get cut down.)
