I would go mini spool if your going to be off road on slick ground. Its just a farm truck so I wouldn't stick a ton of cash in it.

Yeah, thanks for the reply,Im making a new car payment for my wifes car,and a mortgage, and 3 kids in 2 private bilingual schools, here in Panama,so needless to say,my plates full for now,my girls just want me to sell the old Ford, and get a toyota hi-lux,which is not offered in the usa,I dont think, its an import only version of a toyota 4x4,it is diesel-turbo,ex cab,5 spd, some come with elect.lockers,Its a nice truck, but I just cant make another payment now, they wonder why I keep fixing the Ford, well, its because I like it for 1,and its paid for,so Ill just have to keep on patching it together, and working it on the farm, also, you dont see many on the road here in Panama, theres some, but not like the US.
Bullitt390 wrote:Hmmm... with the question best "bang" for the buck I would go this route...

Lincoln Locker (weld the spiders) $35.00 ...cost a few welding rods, some silicone and a case of beer to the welder

Spool $100 (mini-spool) to $200 for full spool, new bearings and misc.

Limited Slip (Auburn) $500+ for bearings and misc.

Detroit locker $350 (if you catch an awesome sale or a Nascar unit from Ebay)- $600+... same extras as above

ARB Air Locker $1200+ for air lines, compressor, controls etc. It's true it is a nice luxury to have one, but incredibly overpriced and doesn't have the best "bang" for the buck.

That is all American currency which I think Panama uses.

Yes your right Josh,Panama does use good ole American currency,so why In the hell did we give them back the canal that we dug for them?

I thought our lease came up on the canal several years ago?

I have a 31 spline mini-spool sitting around I don't need if that's the route you want to take. Not sure what shipping or customs is like to Panama though.
