I wonder if the quality is the same...convincor wrote:Yes Modine still exist but the merged with Proliance who makes the Ready-radsBobbyFord wrote:No such thing as "used to be Modine" they still exist.... http://www3.modine.com/v2portal/modine.portal
Anyone that told you Modine used to be, is blowing smoke up your radiator...

Went thru this with NPD last year. From what I understand you won't see an aftermarket radiator with the Modine name anymore. That division of Modine is now Proliance.
this is the same rad you'll be getting- http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... 1620931___

Re: Radiator source
Hi! So if Modine is now Proliance, does that mean the Proliance radiators are Made in USA?
I called a NAPA a few weeks ago asking about radiators, and they said that they could sell me a Modine. I asked them to find out where they're made, and they placed a phone call, then called me back and said they're made right here in California.
The radiator was $400 by the way.

Re: Radiator source
Go to NPD- http://www.npdlink.com/index.php
Go to our years, to cooling and it states-
"Many of our radiators list here are made by Prolinace(old Modine) and carry their exclusive "GoldCard" limited lifetime warranty.
"Check out our pricing on our American made radiators and you'll find we beat out the Asian units being sold by many of our competitors. Better still our U.S. made units are cofigured to fit your Truck perfectly.
Now if it makes you feel better to pay NAPA $400 for the same thing you can get from 1800Radiator for $200, then go for it. Your getting the same thing.
