I have a 64 model r code 427 in my truck and it has 352 stamped on the block. I think about all F.E. motors are stamped 352?

I have a 74 360 block that actually has 428 cast in the front where they usually say 352. I've also seen a 63 390 block that had 406 cast in the lifter valley and had the bosses for crossbolts (unmachined of coarse).
