Does anyone know it the Cleveland and the Windsors use the same flywheel? Im talking as far as balancing... i know the bolt up to the crank and the clutch is the same too. And if they aren't the same what are some problems that might resort from running it?

Shake, shake, shake your booty. If it has the 351W bolt pattern then the 300 and 302 is the same too so there are no fewer than 3 different balances that might bolt on.

Hey thanks for the reply. So it must be the right balance because it doesn't shake at all. I was more just worried about it tearing out the crank bearings or something.

Yes, you would know if it had the wrong balance.

Yes, 351W, 351C and 221, 260, 289, and old 302 all had the same 28.2 oz. imbalance. Only the early 80's and newer 302 changed to 50oz. imbalance. 6 cylinder is different because it is a neutral balance. Because of this if you want to put an AOD behind a 60's or 70's 302 you just use a late model 351W flywheel! The bottom line is your Windsor flywheel will bolt right on and work just fine on any Cleveland as long as it is from a 221, 260, 289,1980 and older 302, or from a 351W of any year.
