it should be on the manifold but here is one i got off of here awhile back.

it wants to start up but my solenoid keeps getting hot and the wires.does anyone have a diagram too.

thanks fordman. i dont need to post for that, i took my wires off to take em back and thought i could figure it out, thing was poofing fuel out and not staring. ,,,

that is back firing through the carb and that means the dist is too far one way or another. or the timing chain is gone out or jumped.

or the plug wires are off.
Excessive heat on the solenoid/wires means too much resistance, probably a poor connection or maybe you just cranked too long. I think the proper amount of cranking goes something like, crank 20 seconds, wait 2 minutes. Of course non of us follow that when we are having issues.

dang i have the firing order right.any more suggestions it turns on for about 3 seconds then dies. the car throttle is hard im going to take it off and go from there.im getting fuel does anyone have a diagram on the vacum lines?
