kickdown question

Post by 71HANKER »

Im finally getting around to putting on the kickdown rod for my c6, and i wanted to know if i need to get a special linkage adapter for edelbrock carbs. I have a 1405 600 cfm manual choke carb, and i see that edelbrock makes a kickdown piece for cables, but will that work? what do i need guys?

Holley makes an extension that gets attached to the rod. Should work on either carb.

Here's instructions http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Tec ... 9R9601.pdf
And where to get it http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku
As for the bracket, don't alway's go by Summits despriptions. Lots of them are wrong or incorrect.

Depending on the height of your intake you may need both parts.
