1968 F-100, 360, 4x2, 3 speed column shift manual with overdrive. It has the factory transmission and overdrive. Is it a 3.03???? A T-85??? Where is a good place to but a rebuilt transmission or maybe even a rebuild kit?? Will I be able to find somebody to rebuild the overdrive unit these days??

Parts are scarce and so are people who know how to rebuild one. Probably a T85N
I imagine you can find bearing kits and such pretty easy.

Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.

Re: What Transmission Is In My Truck??
Thanks for the info. The truck runs fine now, but the OD does not work. The transmission has never been rebuilt, and it could go at any time I guess. I wanted to start doing research and finding parts for a rebuild.....I know it's coming.
