float needs to be replaced
i have come to the conclusion that my float is bad, becuase it was flooding. rolling without giving gas, stalling and vapr was coming out of manifold due to too much gas. is it hard to replace the float or do i just get a new carb all together. thanks.

What carburetor you got, danggit? ;)
I've never-ever seen a bad 2100 float! :)
Betcha it's the valve... something's stuck to the rubber tip...
...or something like that... and all it needs is a good cleaning. :)

ps- carburetors are easy to work on, they ain't rusty. ;)
(unless you get 'em from the scrap yard like I do;)
pps- Just have a place to work so when springs, ball bearings
and other little parts fall-out unexpected-like you can find 'em.
ppps- That's about all there is to it, the rebuild kit will have
instructions and an exploded view too. :)
pppps- You can do it if you want to! No kidding on that.

Re: float needs to be replaced
yeah some one said my ings were bad due to vapors coming out of egr valve, but it makes sence that if its dumping fuel, it will cook fuel, also explains why it would roll in idle and stall and would stanrt when i help down gas pedal ,,i miss driving my truck waaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! espcially when i used it to make extra money. cause i have no work. darn
