polishing aluminum
im going to be polishing a set of M/T valve covers and an edelbrock intake for a 390, i was wondering if there is any way i can make sure they stay shiney and clean after being polished? i was also wondering if there is an engine paint that you can get in clear?

Re: polishing aluminum
I think I saw clear heat paint at Autozone or Advance Auto the other day. Those Mickey Thompsons sound cool. Let's see pics when you get em polished. I got a set on my 302, and I was wondering how polished would look. I'd appreciate seeing pics when you get them all spiffed up.
