Would it be possible, if not reasonable to put a super charger in my 70 f100? Have any of you done it, could you show pictures?

I'm not really sure..any. Oh, and do bumps have the hood clearance for it?floyd67 wrote:what kind ?
Re: supercharger
hood clearance may depend on the charger you want.

Re: supercharger
I looked this up once. all I did was google it, and found something. The thing I couldn't figure out was how it would work with a carb intake.

Re: supercharger
I'm not aware of any ready built "kit".
Blower Drive Service and Blue Thunder both make intakes for a GMC 4/6/8-71 style roots blower and there have been some paxton/vortech insatlled (even as duals) but it is all custom.
I'd say putting either on a stock 360 is a recipie for pistons in the oil pan.

Re: supercharger
It would fair well just cant push a stock cast piston over about 5-8 PSI. I may run one someday on my 428 powered 64 Fairlane.

vortech and powerdyne belt driven s/c's can be fabbed to fit anything you want. it's just a matter of plumbing the intake and intercooler if you run one.
