Anyone have a blow up of the valve body showing the different valves and springs?

No not yet , the valve body in the c6 behind my old mans mild 460 is well -pretty lame .
I have a body from a '67 c6 that is in good shape and I want to install that .

I think I might mess around with the springs and maybe intall a shift kit .
I am looking very firm shifts .

Oh and by the way , thanks Barry !

I did a B&M trans pack to mine, in stage 2 flavor. I like it.

Pin 7 and 9 to the bottom of the bores for VERY FIRM shifts.

"Pin 7 and 9 to the bottom of the bores for VERY FIRM shifts"

Robert what do you mean when you say "pin"

I heard once that stretching out the springs will give you a stronger shift feel.

Cut a bolt or other solid clean object so that it fits above the piston (between the piston and cover) and holds them fully in. My TCI kit included one pin, but I ended up making another. Jay at Broader performance is the one that told me how to do it. Worked great!

What about just streching the springs out a little .
Would this also give the firmer shift ?
