Re: Cragar!!
I could be mistaken but I believe the smallest rim you can run on a 3/4 ton is 16". I believe the brakes are too big for 15's. They came with 16.5's from the factory, F-100 came with 15's.

Honestly, I really would rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

Re: Cragar!!
I just replaced the rims on my 70 F250 3/4 ton at les schwab and they told me to go with 16's. I have 15.5's on my 70 F100 1/2 ton. Hope that helps.

Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?

Re: Cragar!!
I've never seen 15" eight lug wheels. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe they exist.

Re: Cragar!!
Loads of 15" 8 luggers are out there. They fit fine on the old drum brake highboys, but have no idea if they'd clear 2wd disc brakes (very doubtful).

Re: Cragar!!
So are we talkin about stock steelies or aftermarkets? I know when I bought some aftermarkets for my old 78 F250 I had to get 16's to get 8 lugs. Just curious...
