Rear Diff for 69 f100

hey guys i i have a 9 inch i think in a 69 ford f100 , i do not have posi , recently my u joints broke and i got those redone done along with a refurb. driveshaft. my question is my yoke got cracked as well and it is leaking gear oil. I was wondering wear to buy a new differnetial or a new yoke , and what type of gears do i have thx guys.

junkyards should have yokes. or i have one i could let go of. the gear size should be told by the door tag if someone hasnt changed them there is also a tag ont he rearend bolts that says what it is. unless its gone for some reason. the only way to tell for sure is to take the third member out and read the numbers on the right gear.

by any chance do you know the tag for a non-posi rear end to a 69 f100

Your 'rear axle code' will be indicated on the VIN plate on the driver's door. You can determine your rear axle ratio using this chart.

The shop that did your driveshaft was it a Driveshaft shop? If so they can find a yoke real easy. Though 9 inch Ford rear ends are in all the junk yards a yoke ought to be easy to get.

Yeah I just ended up just geting a new yoke because one of me main seals on the yoke along with one of the teeth on the main gear was chpped some how so it was a 100 bucks at a rear end shop

For a new yoke that is not bad. When my 67 Stang snapped drive shafts my yoke in 1970 cost 52!
