ford sierracin alternator
dose any one know anything about the ford sierracin alternator, this is what I found in a '76 motors manual

In 1976 Ford used them on LTDs to run the back window defroster. Two alternators on the 400s and 460s.
It was very dangerous due to the high voltage being introduced into a normal 12 Volt wiring systems so it did not last very long.

the only thing i can think one would be good for on our trucks woul dbe to be able to plug a tool or something into.
