Welcome from Crecy Texas. I've only been here for a couple of weeks. But I'm sure you'll like it here, as have I.
I wish I had a knowledgable buddy that could spend the time as you are with yours. I've never been a mechanic. Oil changes, a couple of water pumps, one rearend swap, little crap like that. But knowing what I'm doing. Not. Hopefully your buddy is more like me and willing to do the work and just needs a mechanic brain behind him.
