Throttle Linkage
Ok. Here is the current thorn in my side of my engine rebuild. I installed an offy intake on my 240. I have a Holley 2300 2bbl carb. I have an adapter plate in place to mount the carb to the intake. In doing this I had to turn the carb facing sideways instead of facing the front. Now I need some type of linkage to make this work. My original setup had a 1bbl carb and it required linkage to make the side to side motion. I tried using this old linkage but I ended up messing it up. Is there a linkage/cable setup out there that would work with my setup or do I just need to upgrade to a 4bbl?

Re: Throttle Linkage
Look at some of these cables and see if they might work. These are for carburated engines but maybe one from fuel injection may work, you may have to fab some brakets to make it work.

Here is a cut to fit cable.

finally found this (we used these in the old days to flip the pattern sideways or in your case back to normal):theogre5150 wrote:Ok. Here is the current thorn in my side of my engine rebuild.
