Scored a seat

Post by shrektruck »

Went to the boneyard for seatbelts today (modern retractable shoulder belts) and the guy wanted 60 bucks apiece for them!
I was getting ready to waly out and noticed an '02 Dodge seat with integrated belts sitting in the back of a truck. Just out of curiosity I asked how much for the seat?
$110 bucks. :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
Two seat belts for $120 or a nice seat with center console and three belts,
Tough choice.
I sprung for the seat and will need to recover it before installing it (green)
Looks like it will be almost a direct bolt in.
Oh yeah, my wife explained that there would be problems if I bought anything else for the shrektruck before her Dodge is painted :argue:

Sounds good. Would like to see a pic when you get it done. I've got a Ford seat out of a 1993 3/4 ton regular cab that I got redone in black. Just need to find the time to get it installed.

Course I'll take pics. It will be awhile because the wife's truck gets paint next- like driving around in a red Dodge with a black bed is any worse than just driving the piece of Dodge anyways.
