what are msd part # s for '69- 429 ?

i have a 1972 ford f100 shortbed ranger xlt pickup with a 1969 ford
429 motor that is stock except for 750 edelbrock 4barrel
carburater,aluminum intake & headers.it has a automatic c6 trans.i have a
msd 6al ignition box [not installed]. i need the correct part #s for a msd
distributer & msd coil.remember the motor is stock with a stock cam. :help: thank
you for your time in this matter.

You can use a Durospark distributor from a mid '70s 429/460 with the MSD 6A box. It works fine. The MSD dizzy's are better but as stated above, over $300. I used a 6A box, MSD Blaster coil and durospark dizzy and it ran fine. I eventually ran the MSD dizzy and it is a bit more responsive however,it was expensive and for a truck, maybe a little overkill.

The HEI is a good alternative.
