Any parts house should have the 'U' joint.

They do but on my 68 I have a 2 piece drive shaft and a total of 3 u-joints. The front two are exactly the same and are readily available at all parts houses, my problem is that the rear u-joint is not the same as the front two, it is different and the parts houses do not show that, they only have one type listed. I am completely lost and baffled...Any advise or knowledge of what i'm talking about...

390 if you take the joint to a parts house they should be able measure it and match it up to something in their catalog, best to go when their not busy. dick

Measure the caps and the cross width. These are "adapter joints". Odds are you're looking at a 1310/1330 cross.
